​1. Acceptance of Terms

​By accessing, registering for, or using the Emesup website, mobile applications, chatrooms, or related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

​2. Eligibility & Age Restriction

  • ​Minimum Age: You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account or use Emesup.
  • ​Compliance: By using Emesup, you represent and warrant that you have the full right, power, and authority to enter into this agreement and abide by all applicable local, state, national, and international laws, including the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

​3. Account Registration & Security

  • ​Account Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
  • ​Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary.
  • ​Unauthorized Use: You must notify Emesup immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access to or use of your account.

​4. Community Guidelines & User Conduct

​Emesup is designed to provide a safe and engaging space for conversation. You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  1. ​Illicit Activity: Engage in, promote, or facilitate any unlawful activities under Nigerian law or applicable international law.
  2. ​Harassment & Abuse: Harass, bully, stalk, threaten, intimidate, or discriminate against any user based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, disability, or sexual orientation.
  3. ​Explicit / Harmful Content: Share, post, or transmit child sexual abuse material (CSAM), non-consensual sexual content, explicit violence, or extreme gore.
  4. ​Spam & Fraud: Distribute unsolicited promotions, commercial spam, pyramid schemes, or attempt to defraud other users.
  5. ​Malware & Hacking: Upload viruses, malicious code, or attempt to compromise the integrity, security, or infrastructure of Emesup.
  6. ​Impersonation: Impersonate any person, brand, or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

​5. User Content & Licensing

  • ​Ownership: You retain ownership of any text, images, media, or other content you post or share in chatrooms or profiles ("User Content").
  • ​License Grant: By posting User Content on or through Emesup, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to host, display, run, reproduce, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating, improving, and promoting the Service.
  • ​Public Nature of Chatrooms: You acknowledge that messages and content shared in public or group chatrooms are visible to other users. Share personal information at your own risk.

​6. Content Moderation & Account Termination

  • ​Monitoring: Emesup reserves the right, but is not obligated, to monitor, review, or moderate User Content for compliance with these Terms.
  • ​Suspension & Termination: We reserve the right to suspend, disable, or permanently terminate your access to Emesup at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms, engage in behavior harmful to the community, or if required by law enforcement.

​7. Intellectual Property Rights

​All trademarks, logos, service marks, platform designs, code, features, and non-user content associated with Emesup and https://www.emesup.com are the exclusive property of Emesup and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our services or included software without express written permission.

​8. Disclaimer of Warranties

​THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. EMESUP DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL ALWAYS BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES.

​9. Limitation of Liability

​TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW IN NIGERIA, EMESUP, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:

  • ​YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE) THE SERVICE;
  • ​ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY OR USER ON THE SERVICE;
  • ​UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT.

​10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

​These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of Emesup shall be resolved primarily through good-faith informal negotiations, or submitted to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.

​11. Changes to Terms

​We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. When material changes are made, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document or provide notice within the app/website. Your continued use of Emesup after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
